A sunset on Turin. Not a common one indeed in the middle of january: a warm wind blowing from south raised the temperature to 25 Celsius degrees and crystal-cleaned the air.
Maybe this was Turin's way to celebrate the 2007 Winter Universiade inaugural day... The shot was taken looking south-west from the Vittorio Emanuele I bridge. On the background, the Umberto I bridge: the toponomy of Turin is heavily influenced by Savoia royal family's reminiscence. The riverside on the right (which is actually the left orographic side of the river Po) is known as Murazzi: there you can spend the grooviest nights in the city, drinking and dancing in the many bars and discos along the docks. Full view recommended. Thanks for viewing. Eighth image in my "Turin" series. Please see the complete series. CommentsIf I ever go to Turin I will remember Murazzi!!! This is the right place for Annie
And I hope I will see such a beautiful sunset -- Life is too short, let's have some fun before we die ______________________________ _________________________ Member of: *Ex-po-zure *Shutter-Vision :devShutterScene: =natures-beauty-club *Everything-Nikon *Scapes-club |
