Description

Sometimes a tiny paper boat can sail seas an iron liner can not.

Full view, please.</a> :D
And thanks for viewing.

Credits:

:iconrelativecosmicmusing: : Golden words in the sky. It is actually the incipit of her prose Waiting in the castle, taken from her original manuscript. Thank you, T

Stock from DA:

:iconelandria: : The castle, the fountain (without water), the girl.

:iconklmnumbers-stock: : The crown.

:iconilharess-stock: : A texture for the river.

:iconskye-stock: : The wings of the girl.

Stock from www.sxc.hu:

- Selicula : The paperboat.

- Timot : The fountain water.

- Qr5 : Some components of the fences.

- Mailsparky : More components of the fences.

- Levi_sz : The sheet on the ground (the words on it come from :iconrelativecosmicmusing:'s Waiting in the castle manuscript, again).

- Agusia : The swans.

- Dakann : The Dalmatian (I changed the position of the head).

- Famramos : The river.

- Atenak : The rose.

Brushes (from DA resources - Gimp brushes):

- :icondroz928: : Big birds.

- :iconfence-post: : Small birds.

Ground, meadow and trees, sky, embankment rocks, the words on the paperboat, and the image texture come from photos taken by me.

The inspiration for "Trust your tiny paper boat" came to me from a talk :iconrelativecosmicmusing: and I had some time ago through comments here on DA. While I was already working on it, Teresa uploaded the wonderful Waiting in the castle, which made me think about inserting a castle in this pic and the incipt itself of the tale as a sort of texture in the sky: Teresa was so kind to scan and send me a page of her original manuscript. Some days ago, and just before I uploaded "Trust your tiny paper boat", she uploaded A million hesitations. My pic was nearly completed, and I realized that it could be, at least in my own view, the representation of the very last lines of Teresa's poem.
